We used to live on Yakushima Island, a World Heritage Site, and run an inn named “Mochomuyo Retreat.
This newly started guesthouse in Osaka is named “MY Retreat Osaka”, an acronym for “Mocchom Yogali Retreat
Osaka”, to express its second branch.
The name “MY Retreat Osaka” is an acronym for “Mochomuyo Retreat Osaka”.
The motif of the logo is Mt. Mocchomu, one of the symbols of Yakushima. The logo expresses the owner’s
gratitude for the special days he spent on Yakushima and his wish to provide visitors with the comfort of a
“second home”.

The property is conveniently located a 3-minute walk from the nearest train station and tourist attractions, etc. The 2nd and 3rd floors are reserved for private use and can comfortably accommodate 16 people in a family or group.
Lift facilities friendly to the elderly and long-term guests
There is no elevator at the private entrance, but there is a lift (up to 70 kg) to carry luggage between the 1st and 2nd floors. Elderly guests can use this lift to carry their luggage. The room leads to the open-plan living/dining room. The large windows let in plenty of light, allowing you to relax and unwind after a long day of travel.
Diverse travel time in a comfortable space
On the second floor, there is a beautiful Japanese-style room with tatami mats on the floor where you can relax. The Japanese-style interior spreads a peaceful time to spend.
